Sävar School is a F–9 school with approximately 700 students.

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for teaching Spanish, Swedish, and English for grades 7-9!

Employment Information

The position is a permanent employment, 60%, starting as soon as possible, by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will teach grades 7-9 in Spanish, English, and Swedish. You will also be a mentor for a class. Your role as a primary school teacher is to plan and implement teaching based on the curriculum, but also to do broader planning together with colleagues. You will individually and together with colleagues follow up, evaluate, and analyze teaching, as well as assess and document students' knowledge development. You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal achievement. As a teacher, you are responsible for informing students and guardians about the student's knowledge development.

About You

You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, structure, and coherence for all students. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary teaching based on students' needs. You share your knowledge and experiences to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teaching role is to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Teacher certification and qualification for Spanish, Swedish, and English for grades 7-9
• Experience working as a teacher
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience teaching at the secondary level
